The Hobbit

Well I saw the hobbit... I was expecting a movie really long and kinda boring but boy was I wrong!!! It was soooo good and well worth the weight! Thorin and the white Orc were highlights! And was it just more or did gulloms eyes look freakin awesome! Who's seen the Hobbit? What did you think? I thought it was soooo good and if you haven't seen it go out there and see it! It's super action packed and never has a dull moment. Plus there are giants bunnys that pull sleds sooo... GO WATCH IT!

Winter

its that time of year! snow is all the ground and its almost christmas! i challenge you to all go out there today or tomarrow and just bless someone with your pressense. if its just some encouragement, shoveling their driveway, or praying with them, anything will do! just work hard at brightening someones day,. I know from expireance that if you make someone happy, you will be happy as well! :D

Sweaters

Ok so I asked you guys what my next topic would be and you asked me some questions. And I'll answer! I decided to do this all in one post so that you will have alot more to read! Mwahaha. So there we're some good topic ideas. Lets discuss! One kid put some very serious questions that I dread writing cause I just do! But I'll do it. I wanna get to all the great funny questions.

Your view on increased population: well.... When two lovers get together... They make a child... And the population increases! WAHLA ONE TOPIC DOWN!!!!

Your view on damaged environments: ummmm it doesn't matter very much. Just keep some parks and zoos. Don't ruin panda places though cause pandas are cuties. Just don't damage my enviroment!!  Which is my bed/ room soooooo.  (I don't think that's what that even means.) DON'T GO IN MY ROOM!!! UNLESS I LET YOU! 

Your view on global warming: the sun is hot so the earth is hot. End of discussion! 

How would you shape the world if you were in control? We would all be giant regenerating pizzas so we could eat each other and than have it grow back! And instead of piercings and tattoos we would have TOPPINGS! And we would bath In Mountain Dew And drink hot sauce! 

Ok so I'm done with that kids questions! Dang they were so serious I had to be so deep and sincere! I get you had never seen that side of me before! But now I can answer Joel's questions/topics! Yes!!!! Joel is cool and I like his hair. He also is smart so I hope I can give him good answers. We will see! 

Why is the sky blue: the sky is blue because that's how God made it! He had a giant wheel of chance that he spun to decide the colors of things. On the sky wheel he had the colors. Blue, red, pink, black, purple, poop, orange, and puke. He spun it twice to get the colors of the sky in the night and in the day. The first spin landed on blue and the second one. The night spin. Landed on black. God was angry because of the color choices! He wanted poop for the night and puke for the day! Smells included. Ewwwwww that you oh holy color wheel! So that's why the sky is blue. If you don't believe me READ YOUR BIBLE! 

What did you eat for breakfast on Tuesday.... Ummm I think it was waffles! I love waffles!!! Sooo good! With syrup! Yummm!!! Waffles! Wafflely wafflers on waffle ness! Yeah.... Waffles.... YEA!!!! WAFFLES!!!!!! 

Can you lick your elbow: Heck No! Truth is I've actually taken alot of time to try to do this haha. It's hard! I had someone take a picture of me trying to do it... Maybe I'll post it sometime. But I don't really want that on the Internet. I wish I had super awesome elbows that extended out like mr fantastics arms so imstead of just licking them I could eat them!!! Umm maybe not!

The state of modern music part 2. COUNTRY MUSIC! ...

Ok so sorry it's been so long since I wrote about my opinion on cruddy pop music. And I'm sorry I'm sorry if I made some pop lovers angry. It was just my opinion... But I'm gonna be even more mean today as I talk about my least favorite genre of music.... COUNTRY...
 Let me start this post off by saying that I do not listen to country music. Out of all of the genres in music this has got to be my least listened to one. I just find it hard to listen to. It all sounds the same to me and there is a such thing as TO MUCH ACOUSTIC GUITAR! It gets annoying! I will also say that I play acoustic guitar and its probably my favorite instrument to play as of now.
Ok so we should structure this post out a little bit. Lets first talk about the basis of country. Ok so it apparently originated from folk music and cowboy music and stuff. Hence every country singing having to wear a cowboy hat... But to me every country singer sounds the same! Being a doe hard fan of the voice I get to expience alot of country music every Monday and Tuesday at 7 pm ;) watch it! Blake shelton is a coach on the voice and he does country stuff all the time. And it's just so boring. Plus I have a big pet peeve with it that I will get to in a minute. On the iTunes Charts 2 of the top 3 country songs are Taylor swift. Ok so yes she is extremely attractive. But the number 3 country song: never ever getting back together or whatever it's called (haha rhyme) how is that even a country song! It's wrote like a pop song and sang like a pop song! She needs to decide on what she wants to be! I heard she even did some rap stuff eww! Not that I dislike rap or anything.
On other big issue of country music is the faith... This is a big pet peeve of mine. Ok so if you listen to any country song you will hear something like "gave my life to Jesus to make my baby proud" or something stupid like that. Almost every country song try's to add God and faith to the song for some reason. And most times the singer is most definitely not a Christian. This makes me very angry for obious reasons. Cause it makes it seem like they are a Christian but if you look them up they swear alot and party and drink and things and than people will think that's ok for a Christian to do. I know you think I, m overthinking this. I'm sorry but this is MY BLOG! Haha I'm cool... Ok so I dislike country. There you go! Plus tons of country songs are super depressing. SAD! I like happy songs! And country sings aren't even Cathy. But we can all Agree that THE BEST COUNTRY SONG EVER IS PARTY IN THE USA!!!! WOOT.

Well... Last week FF5 gave us that crazy new song called Phenominon! What did you (joel) think of it! I thought it was ok... But really safe for them. It was good but didn't take any risks. Ok so pop music has one thing going for it.. Plus Disney girls shouldn't sing!!! .

Ok so there is one thing about pop music that doesn't completely suck... It's soooo catchy! I have had myself ramming many a pop song. Sure I hate it. But the artists still must've done something right. So e pop songs that I've had stuck in my head are. Last Friday night and California girls. Both by Katy perry. Beautiful or whatever that song is called. By one direction. Friday... If you wanna call that a pop song. Dynamite and some others. Pop songs re so Catchy and its hard to figure out why! Cause the lyrics are so dry... Girls and party's... Maybe that's why it's so easy to get stuck in your head. Cause it's so simple and lame you remember it really easy! Cause there isn't much to remeber! And don't get me started about all the Disney artists that make horrible pop songs and music videos for TV. Just because you can act doesn't mean you can sing! Especially those shake it up songs... Soooo awful. But seriously almost no Disney star can actually sing good! The country girl from good luck Charlie isn't that bad I guess but the rest are awful... I'm being so mean right now. At least they are all pretty right! :)... Ok this post lacks substance and just... Anything. Bye. I'll be back soon for the second part in this series. Get ready!

The condition of modern music. Part 1. POP MUSIC... :(

Ok. Here comes my most serious topic... Just kiddin! Happy Tuesday! But... This debate is bout to get heated. Ok so music! Oh sweet sweet music. I don't know what I would do about it. I sing it! I play it! I hear it! I even watch it! I try to balance out all the genres I listen to. So I will try to talk about the current state of each main genre of music. First off let me state that I am a huge fan of music. I'm listening to it at least 2-3+ hours a day. Probably more. I'm very serious about my music. So don't  you dare make fun of it! Haha just kidding. This is my opinion. I'm probably gonna butcher pop music here so don't hate me if you love pop! I'm just stating MY OPINIONS! Hahhh... Soooo let's get started!
1. Pop music... Ok so lets see what the top three pop songs on iTunes are.
    1. Diamonds by Rihanna. 2. Locked out of heaven by Bruno mars  3. Gangman style by PsY.

Ok sooo... Rihanna... Her album cover has a picture of her standing there naked... And the album name is what barely covers her chestal Area... But there's another pop artist. Katy Pery and her album cover has her lying naked on a cloud. And than Christina agulaira just put out a new album and its her standing there naked also... So what do we learn from this! Pop artists like to be naked! And show their body's on their covers. Sure I admit its attractive. But please don't show us! Sexual temptation is enough these days and now we have to see that! Ok so onto the music. Rihanna sucks.... Ok on to the others! Bruno mars sings that lazy day song so we all know what he's like... Sucks! I'm gonna get so much crap for this... And than we have Gangman Style. Oh my! This song is a Korean pop song but has for some reason taken over the land of America. So we can't tell what it is about because the whole thing is in Korean! But I can get the jist of what this song is about. The whole thing is in Korean except the corus... It goes "ohhhhhh SEXY LADIES!!! Oh oh oh oh oh" ummmm. Ladies and gentle men! The current state of pop music! This song is popular because of the electronic music and how the song is about a dance I guesse... But it is still super wierd and inappropriate. I'm my opinion at least. I saw the music video of this song and all it is is am Asian guy running around with bikini ladies. Yeah... To me pop music is comprised of the same three things. Sex, party, drinking... Cause that's pretty much what a pop song is. Everything on pop radio has something to do with partying. The only ones who seem to have good lyrics is one direction. Sure I do hate them. But they seem to be singing about quality things. Idk... Soooo pop music. The music of teenage girls. I give it a 1 out of ten. Now I will add that sometimes I like pop punk and some power pop. But when we are talking about "radio pop" it's awful. I'm sorry Justin bieber and Katy perry. But you suck....

Add to the last post (gods will vs. hotness)

Because some people had to be nitty gritty. (Joel) :) just kidding I have nothing against that lovable man. I do indeed love him. Like Philadelphia.. But he said some things and I will answer these things! Ok so first ill clear up what I was talking about in my last post. I wasn't meaning to say. Yo man you need to go out and get as many woman as you can in as little time as you can go find your true love as fast as you can!" That's not what I was trying to propose. What I meant was dont just sit on the hope of true love with the same girl forever. I mean you can still like her, but you need to be open to change. If a new girl comes along, don't tell yourself you are committed to this one girl you've always liked. Because there could be alot of hope in this new girl and if you don't go meet her and get to know her, you will never  know if it could go anymore. And none of this even means you need to date people. Dating is kinda stupid in my opinion. So just meet girls and just guy friends too. And go ahead and be friends! Do not meet and amazing girl and ask her out immediately thinking that God has told you she is your true love. Sexual hormones and Gods will are two completely different things :). Just keep that in mind. It's like when a guy is like "OMG bro! This girl is so amazing I think God is telling me I need to ask her out!" No man... You just think she's Hot!!! And I'm not saying that God can't help you with these things. Because he does indeed have a plan for you! An amazing one at that! I hope that cleared up some things. Probably not but whatever. Waiting for friends/love etc.

Yeah this kinda goes without saying... no one is like anyone else! Except on Halloween of course. God made us all different! Meaning we will never find anyone like ourselves. So don't judge people! I've heard people say this. "Well I don't wanna be his friend because he's alot different then I am!" WELL OBIOUSLY YOU IDIOT!! You are never going going to find someone exactly the same as you! It's just not going to happen. So stop waiting and get out there and make friends. I personally am very different. Whoever reads this blog knows that :P I'm not sitting around waiting to find people like me. Because its just not going to happen. Sure I will find someone once in a whole who is an awkward yet lovable freak like I am. Don't forget how handsome I am ;) But they won't be just like me! Just because I am like this person doesn't even mean I will necessarily get along with them. If I was someone else other than myself I would probably think Joshua Drury was a freak. Again I add HANDSOME freak.
Ok so the point is. Don't wait around for people. Get out there and meet people! Than you will probably meet some of your best friends ever. It will surprise you. But you need to do this! This also applies to people waiting for their true love. I don't like using that phrase because in reality it sounds really girly. But it's true! I do believe that true love does exist, but I have yet to find it. Maybe I even know the girl now! But I can't just sit it out and wait when the possibility of my true love somewhere else. This is kinda not relevant but their is one situation where it is. I know some people who have been crazy about the same girl for many many years. Man when your almost 17 or whatever ae the person reading this is. You can't just sit here waiting for her. Because if you really think about it, if you have been trying to make her like you and be with her for this long it's probably not going to happen. And your true love could be right by you waiting for god to show her her man but you still can't get over this beautiful girl who you will never be with. C'mon man it's time for you to move on! Haha.

People are BORING!!!

Here I am. Joshua D... I'm sitting in a classroom in becker minnasota. I just realized something! The majority of people are extremely boring! And when someone acts different, everyone just doesn't understand! This just happened to me. I was sitting here in history class watching a stupid movie on Egyptians. On the movie a song starts to play. With trumpets and stuff. It's just background music so I decide to sing alot/hum along. I wasn't even loud. It was extremely quiet! My mouth was barely open. So than within like 2 seconds the whole class is looking at me! I got alot of dirty looks! What the heck was I doing!?!?!? I was having fun!!! This goes to show that half the people Alive any more are just to normal! They need to stop judging and start being different and enjoying life!!! Like I do!!! Wow haha ok well... AMEN

Why be ashamed?

I am unashamed of my father in heaven! He died for me and because of him I am free from sin. I still have it and I still carry it every day, but he paid for it on the cross. Because of Jesus I can be forgivin. All I need to do is ask my father in heaven for it. Than why are some of us ashamed of god? What reason do we have! For Christ died for us! Now we have eternal life! Don't you want your neighbors and your  best friends and your family members to have eternal life too! This is what kills me sometimes! We rejoice in The Lord because WE get to be free from sin and live in heaven. But we don't want tO tell people about this gift? What if your best friend burns in hell for eternity just because he never heard about the gift of god! And you were here with him all along holding Jesus's spirt in your heart! God told us to be fishers of men! Did he not! It's right in the bible! So why be ashamed! Be unashamed! Romans 1:16!!! Read it and live it! Rejoice in the fact that you! Yes you! Have been giving the gift to save souls! You could be the one who helps decide if a person spends the rest of there existence in heave, or in hell. No one deserves to be in hell forever! No one at all! Not even a serial killer should die In hell! So whoever you are reading this! Get out there! Once a person sees that you have no shame in what you preach, they will know that you truly believe it. And that will show them that this belief may actually be the real one! Because it is the real one! And Everyone needs to know it! Everyone deserves to know it! We can go to heaven! Because of Jesus we get second chances! So let's all be unashamed! And be fishers of men! Romans 1: 16.

PROLOUGE TO NEW BOOK!!!

Here is the Prolouge of a new project I am working on.

In this book we are going to explore the daily life of a young child, and how his life escalates into something spectacular. It will be frightening even terrifying at times. There Weill be love and loss, and tears and hugs. His name is Joshua Spitz. He lives a boring life. One of homework and naps. Many many naps. He loves to read, dream, and observe. He attempts to become skilled at many things but he never does. He just lives an endless cycle of nothingness. But deep down in his heart he always knew that there was something he needed to do. Something he needed to fulfill, but he could never figure out what! It killed him inside. He had tried many things to try and fill this gap. Things like music, concerts and girls. But none of them did any good. As he started getting older this longing grew stronger. He started to understand that this was not just a simple emptiness in his heart. But something else entirely. Sometimes he felt like something was trying to break out of him and be free! But how could he let it out! What could he do! He would just pass through daily life without a care. Yet with nothing to show from it. He needed to figure out his purpose. So begins the story of Joshua Spitz. The young man who would Change the world. But the question is, what will the world be like when he is done with it...

.... There you go... It's pretty lame I know but it's a super rough draft... Just an entry point for awesomeness
